How To Measure Your Penis In Order To Find The Perfect Condom Size

Condoms are incredibly stretchy. As a result, most people will automatically assume that they will fit them no matter the size of their penis. However, this is wrong. Sure, they may slide onto to the penis but being too large for the condom can cause many issues. For example, you will experience incredible amounts of discomfort. Sex is meant to be pleasurable, right?

In addition to this, you run a pretty high chance of the condom splitting. This is something that, obviously, needs to be avoided wherever possible. This is why it is vital that you measure your penis before you go out and purchase a condom. You need to know that you made the right choice.
Now, there are some people out there who will not measure their penis. They will, instead, just opt for a regular size condom and move up or down from there until they find something that is perfect. You could, obviously, go down this route.

However, it is much easier to simply measure the size of your penis to begin with. It will save a lot of hassle and it will ensure that you do not end up with a condom that does not fit and, thus, that will end up causing those issues I mentioned earlier.

What To Measure
When we’re talking about measuring a penis, most people first think of measuring the length. However, when it comes to choosing the proper condom size, your circumference will be the determining factor. Extra length at the base is not ideal, but if the width of the condom is appropriate it will stay on and there’s no risk of it slipping off (or the risk is minimal).

Nonetheless, we’ll talk how to measure both girth and length, as both of these numbers will matter, to more or less degree, for choosing the proper condom size.

You will also need to pay attention to the head of the condom. This is because the head of the condom can also have an impact on your pleasure levels. If you choose something that is too tight on the head then it is going to cause some amounts of discomfort, which is something that we are looking to avoid when it comes to measuring the size of your penis.

How To Measure Your Penis
So, how do you go about measuring the penis? Well, it’s pretty easy, but maybe not as easy as you may think. Sure you may have pulled out a ruler every so often, perhaps to brag about the size of your penis, but when it comes to measuring for condom sizes this is not quite going to cut it. Don’t worry though as the method I am going to highlight below is not going to be all that different.

What You Need:
Ruler and a string or a measuring tape

So to begin with, you will need a pen, some paper, and a measuring tape (the soft type). You can also use a ruler and some string if you do not have a measuring tape.

Measuring Your Circumference (Girth)
Start by getting your penis into a fully erect position.
Wrap either your measuring tape or string around the penis. You will be measuring the girth here.
Measure around the thickest part of your penis. This is where you will get the best measurement.Steps For Measuring Your Length
Again, get your penis into a fully erect position.
You should place either your string or your measuring tape at the base of the penis (press it into the pubic bone so abdominal fat wouldn’t decrease your measurement).
You should now measure all the way to the top.
This will be your length measurement. Make a note of it.You should be done within a couple of minutes. It’s not that much of a hassle. What’s next
You can now use the two measurements that you have gathered to go out and buy the best condom for your penis!
